Hello everyone, and welcome to my blog!
As the world around us transitions and changes, it seems fitting that I would take this opportunity to introduce myself and share a little about my own life transition. My name is Irene Emma and I've spent the last 20 years as an administrative, operational, finance, and HR director for non-profits. But, as we all know, life has a way of taking unexpected turns.
In 2018, at the age of 52, I made the decision to uproot my life and leave my successful career behind. I sold my home in Vail, Colorado, and moved to Marin County, where my heart had always yearned to be. The decision wasn't easy, but it was necessary. I wanted to be closer to my aging mom, and I also wanted to escape the constant snow and cold of Colorado. I wanted to start fresh and begin a new chapter in my life.
Now, three years later, I find myself embarking on another new adventure - starting a blog. I'm excited to share my thoughts, experiences, and insights with all of you. Whether you're going through a major life transition like I did or just looking for some inspiration and positivity, I hope this blog will be a valuable resource for you.
So, what can you expect from this blog? Well, honestly, I'm not entirely sure yet! As with any new endeavor, there's a sense of excitement and uncertainty as to where it will take me. But that's the beauty of life - we never know where our path will lead us. All we can do is embrace the journey and enjoy the ride.
So, whether you're a longtime reader or just stumbling upon this blog for the first time, I welcome you with open arms. Let's see where this adventure takes us, together.
